JAPAN: CERAMICS, ARCHITECTURE, RURAL TRAINS AND COUNTRY INNS
Special tours, Spring/Fall, 2019/2020
Have you always been interested in Japanese ceramics, glazes, firings, or maybe the Mingei movement? Would you like to go on a special trip to visit studios, galleries, museums, and other attractions all over Japan with a bunch of other really interesting travelers? We produce special trips to Japan for groups of up to 16 persons, developed around themes like ceramics, architecture, rural development, and Japanese culture and traditions. The images below are from previous adventures. There are dates for trips planned for spring and autumn 2019, and you can take a closer look at the possbilities by clicking on the buttons below for specific tours. We're happy to collaborate on these trips with Eco Conscious Japan and Jeresferie.dk, and our trips are covered by the Danish Rejsegarantifonden, # 2457. For more information, see below, or contact us! We're also willing to arrange a special adventure just for you!
Please note we are currently researching and preparing the following special tours:
St. Ives, England: Bernard Leach, The British Arts and Crafts Movement, London, Spring 2019.
Korea/Japan: Ceramic History and Aesthetics Tour, Spring 2020.
